Run a plan/task

Backup plan
Run.
In the Run Backup Plan (p. 176) window, select the task you need to run.
Running the backup plan starts the selected task of that plan immediately in spite
of its schedule and conditions.

Stop a plan/task
Click
Backup plan
Stop.
Stopping the running backup plan stops all its tasks. Thus, all the task operations
will be aborted.

What will happen if I stop the task?
Generally, stopping the task aborts its operation (backup, recovery, validation,
exporting, conversion, migration). The task enters the Stopping state first, then
becomes Idle. The ta s k schedul e, i f created, remai ns vali d. To compl ete th e
operation you will have to run the task again.
recovery task (from the disk backup): The target volume will be deleted and its
space unallocated – you wi ll get th e sa me res ul t if the recovery i s
unsuccessful. To recover the "lost" volume, you will have to run the task once
agai n.
recovery task (from the file backup): The aborted operation may cause
changes in the destination folder. Some files may be recovered, but some not,
depending when you stopped the task. To recover all the files, you will have to
run the task once again.
