The initial release of Backup and Recovery included an advanced version and a

standalone edition but the latest version does not. Why is this?

The latest version of Backup and Recovery is based on Acronis Backup & Recovery Advanced Server and

Advanced Workstation but is simply called Backup and Recovery Server and Workstation, respectively. The

advanced edition has proven to be significantly more popular than the standalone edition and thus Emerson

decided to simplify the Backup and Recovery product options and only offer the advanced edition.
